How the numbers are worked out

Why is GST not part of my revenue?
The price a buyer pays includes GST, but that GST is collected for the government. Your revenue is the price without it, so a ₹1,180 sale at 18% GST is ₹1,000 to you. Counting the full ₹1,180 makes every margin look better than it is.
What about the GST on marketplace fees?
Marketplaces charge 18% GST on their fees. If you are registered for GST you can usually claim that back as input tax credit, so it is not a real cost. If you cannot claim it, it is. The box above lets you choose.
How are returns counted?
Each returned unit costs you the shipping back, and the part you cannot resell loses its product cost. The calculator spreads that over every unit sold, so the answer is the profit you can expect per unit, not the best case. It assumes the marketplace refunds its fees on a returned unit, which is usual but depends on the marketplace and the reason for the return.
How accurate is this?
It is an estimate from the numbers you give it. Marketplace fees change by category, price band and weight, and some charges (ads, storage, penalties, delayed payouts) are not included. Your settlement report shows what actually happened.
